We are approaching the final stretch for the release of Diablo Immortal, the first mobile game in the Blizzard franchise. In preparation for this moment, the developer has published an extensive manual with all the information you need to know, including the game’s release time, pre-download, and how much space it will take up on your device.
The release of Diablo Immortal is scheduled for June 2 at 14:00 on Android, iOS, and PC. It is common for the arrival of games mobile to be done gradually to avoid server congestion problems and improve support fluidity. Still, some players may receive access from the day before.
Diablo Immortal pre-download
Diablo Immortal can now be downloaded to PC from the Battle.net client, which will please users with modest connections. This version of the game is surprisingly heavy at 26.8GB.
While the textures and soundtracks are certainly uncompressed and of higher quality than the mobile version, it’s still amazing how far away from the mobile game.
The final weight of the game’s mobile version is not yet officially known. Based on the latest beta version, the game should be around 4GB on mobile, plus some additional maintenance downloads and new content packs with the information we have.
We recommend downloading the game over Wi-Fi. You will soon be able to start the download from your App Store or Google Play.
Progress shared between mobile and PC
Officially, the PC version of the game client is in beta, but in practice, you can switch devices and keep your progress. It is expected that specific options and features of the PC version are not yet fully finalized.
However, you will need to install the Battle.net app on mobile and PC and sign in with the same account to maintain your progress across platforms.
Choose your server wisely.
There are dozens of game servers for Diablo Immortal, and they are divided geographically and by the language definition. Make sure you create a character on the server you want, as it is currently impossible to transfer a character from one server to another. Chat with your friends and decide together to be able to play in co-op.
