Diablo Immortal Barbarian Build with Skills, Gems and Leveling Tips
After choosing your server and the Barbarian class in Diablo Immortal, it’s time to jump into the action and start a new adventure using a good pair of axes. The first few minutes and even the first few hours of the game are relatively simple, with unique abilities appearing in your menu as you progress. Of course, there will come the point where you will have more than you can use.
Hopefully, you’ll find your first legendary items a little later when things get even more complicated. Here we present a relatively simple first build, with the skills we recommend you use and the most useful legendary items during the leveling phase, the first in Diablo Immortal.
Skills
We recommend the rotation of skills: Sprint to get into close combat, Wrath of the Berserker to strengthen (at a high level), Hammer of the Ancients, and then Waterspout. Laceration allows you to take down the most formidable enemies and heal yourself.
Lacerate
main attack
A good single-target attack that regenerates your life on every third hit.
Cut

A good area of damage is replaced at level 50 by Wrath of the Crazed. This will give you attack and movement speed.
Hammer of the Ancients

An excellent area attack, ideal for decimating groups of enemies.
Ancient Harpoon (Level 3), then Sprint (Level 15)

Ancient Harpoon gives some map control but is replaced by Sprint at level 15, and it will provide you with a lot of essential mobility.
Whirlwind (level 8)

The Barbarian Iconic Ability is available. Try to group the monsters before using them.
Legendary items
It’s unlikely you’ll find all of these items while leveling up, but it can sometimes justify changing a skill. Remember to improve your equipment as much as possible. Even if it is not legendary, you can transfer all this to the new items you will find and equip later.
Head
Second Breath – Sprint duration is extended by 30%.
Torso
The Gathering – Whirlwind pulls in enemies hit.
Shoulders
Yama’s Cyclone – Increases Whirlwind damage by 10%.
Legs
Swiftwing – Sprint increases your allies’ movement speed, which is excellent in a group. If you are playing alone, then any pants.
Primary Weapon
The Tempest – Whirlwind’s area of effect, is enlarged, but movement speed is reduced.
Left Hand – Battle Pass Rank 10 allows you to choose from several Legendaries on the left hand. We recommend selecting The Remembered – the Hammer of the Ancients summons spirits that stun enemies and then fight alongside you.
Excited
Focus on damage (tourmaline, red gem) and armor penetration (sapphire, blue gem).
Legendary gems
Unless you invest large sums of real money, you won’t get many chances to choose your legendary gems or optimize them during the leveling phase. Use what you find at the moment.
General Arcanist Tips
The Arcanist is a class that is highly reliant on combo skills and hitting them, as virtually none of them go straight to the target. It requires knowledge of the game to be executed with mastery, but it is also one of the most satisfying to play. Like every character with a lot of damage, it is also very fragile but has an excellent mobility option with Teleport. In addition, it can be considered a selfish class.
How to level Arcanist?
The tip is valid for any Diablo Immortal class: do the story missions until you get to a point where you need to fulfill some requirements to progress. Generally, this requirement is about having reached a certain level, so we recommend completing Battle Pass missions, which offer a lot of experience. This would be the fastest way to level up, but it’s not necessarily the most interesting.
If you’re looking for a more fluid experience, we recommend sticking with the story quests and embarking on optional activities whenever they arise, which include dungeons and lairs. That way, the chance of you getting to crash at a certain point is lower, and the game flow becomes more natural.
