Alien will have a new title for a player with virtual reality version

20th Century Fox has announced a collaboration with the study Survios for the development of a new Alien game. Although we cannot assure that it is the final title, the name that appears on its website is « Aliens », and it will be an action and terror game for a single player.

At the moment they have not shown any trailer or specific details, so it is to be assumed that it is in early phases of development. What we do know is that it will come out on PC, consoles and virtual reality (without specifying platforms in any case) and is being developed with the Unreal Engine 5 engine; To this is added a brief description by the editor: «This new aliens game will have an original story, set between Alien and Aliens movies, in which a veteran tanned in a thousand battles has a revenge against the xenomorphs ».

They also tell us that the title will take advantage of the entire Survios experience in the creation of immersive and authentic game experiences. In fact, the study founded in 2013 based in Los Angeles, already has extensive experience in the development of games in virtual reality, which seems that it will be the version that loots this new aliens. Survios has worked on titles such as Creed: Rise to Glory, The Walking Dead Onslaught and Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey, all of them developed for VR.

Although a launch window has not yet been marked, the study has announced that it will give more details on July 21, during the Comic-with that will be held in San Diego.
